Licensed Veterinary Technician
Hi, my name is Roxann. I grew up in Newport News, VA, and recently moved to the Toano area. I graduated from Blue Ridge Community College as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2008, and started working at a vet in Newport News. I have been a part of the Anderson’s Corner family since 2012. I have a passion for anesthesia, surgery, and, especially, veterinary dentistry. I enjoy client education and spending time with pet owners to share my knowledge with them.
My love of animals has been part of my entire life, bringing me to rescue a special sheltie of my own, Ruby. Outside of Anderson’s Corner, my favorite things to do are to spend time with my very close friends and family, and I always enjoy going on photography adventures with my husband.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
My name is Sherrie. I started working in the Veterinary field as a Vet Assistant in 2000 and graduated from Cedar Valley Community College in 2007 with a degree in Veterinary Technology with honors. Prior to 2000, I worked as a certified Corporate Travel Agent for government contractors. I am originally from Northern Va, and moved to Williamsburg in 2003. I joined the ACAH family in May 2010. My special interests include anesthesia and surgery, dentistry and avian medicine. I am proud to work at such a perfect facility where I can utilize all of my skills!
Away from work, I can be found spending time with my husband (Chris), 3 children (Logan, Carter and Avery), 3 dogs (Wilbur, Chance and Finn), and 2 cats (Tinkerbelle and Dexter). They certainly keep me on my toes!
Hello I'm Katie, I have been an employee at Anderson's Corner Animal Hospital since we opened. I started right out if high school working at The Gloucester Mathews Humane Society. While working there I learned so much about the want, need and desire to take care of our four legged family members & find them all forever homes. I learned my most useful skills while working at the humane society: compassion & observation. Compassion towards people and their needs for their pets, the much needed compassion for the animals in our care, no matter what the situation is. Also, observation to be able to recognize the state of mind the pet is in and help comfort them in the way they need to be comforted. I apply all that I have learned daily, towards my clients’ pets and even my own. My own two cats are my loves. I have had Dill since he was 8 days old & could not have asked for a better cat with a more amazing personality. He has undergone a few knee surgeries, one that has frozen his leg in place. But through it all he has been very happy and positive and will probably be the best cat I ever own. Lucky is Dills adopted sister who I foundas a stray at 8 weeks old. I like to think of her as my normal cat, she's a bit shy but very lovable after her rough start to life. I'm very happy to work with the Doctors and my fellow employees at ACAH. I believe we have a great mix of knowledgeable staff that can help educate the family's concerns for the patient’s needs. I look forward to going to work because my job truly makes me happy.Every day is a different day & it gives us a chance to help every animal we come across.
My name is Donna. I was born in California, but have lived in the Williamsburg area for 27 years. I have had the pleasure of working at ACAH since August 2010, which has been a great experience. The staff is fabulous, and I enjoy spending time with clients and providing high quality patient care. Prior to joining the team at ACAH, I volunteered with Dr. Welch. I graduated from William and Mary with a BS in biology in 2013. I am going to attend veterinary school, get a PhD in cell and molecular biology and become a veterinary professor. My clinical interests include client education, preventative medicine, nutrition, behavior, exotic/ avian/ wildlife medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, and oncology. I have been working in research for 10 years and am currently working on a cancer project in a biochemistry lab. My current pets include four cats (Mittens, Purkinje, Chordae and Melani), a dog (Bootsie), a rabbit (Buster), a hedgehog (Rosalind), and a bearded dragon (Loki). In my spare time I enjoy reading, working out/ running (training for a marathon), martial arts (I am a black belt), horseback riding, SCUBA diving, traveling, learning about cultures and art, and volunteering in underprivileged communities (especially with World Vets).
My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm from Richmond. I enjoy spending a lot of time out doors. I have a yellow lab named Jake, and we like to play in the back yard a whole lot. I am currently enrolled in college for nursing.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Heather moved to the Williamsburg area in September of 2016 from Rochester, NY. She graduated from Medaille College’s Veterinary Technology program in Buffalo, NY and has been a licensed Veterinary Technician since November 2013. She enjoys the daily bond between an owner and their pet, and is there to lend support in whatever way she can. Her favorite parts of being an LVT are phlebotomy and running lab work.
Heather shares her home with her wife, Chelsie, cats; Skyler and Bob, and dogs; Ivy and Finn. She loves cats and likes to think of herself as a “self-proclaimed” cat-whisperer. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, singing, hiking, swimming, and playing video games.

Hi, I'm Justin. I'm currently a senior in college, and I intend to pursue going to school to become a veterinarian. I love sports, and especially soccer. I have worked here for the past three summers as an intern, and I love it.
I was born and raised in the Williamsburg area. I started out in the veterinary field in 1988 as a veterinary assistant and receptionist. I graduated Cedar Valley Community College in 2011 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. For the past 20 years, I lived in the Lynchburg area. I joined the team here in September 2015, and my special interests are exotics, behavioral cases, and have currently began helping in our rehab program. I live in West Point with my husband, 2 sons, Kelly and Lincoln and our menagerie of misfits: 3 Dobermans, an Italian Greyhound, a Jack Russell, 5 parrots, 2 hedgehogs, a bearded dragon, & Oscar fish. I enjoy spending my time off with my family and attending car shows. I enjoy all dog sports and hope to begin competing again in the future. I also plan to start my aviary back up when we finally get things settled. In my 'spare time', I enjoy helping in rescue, educating the public, fostering, training, home inspections, and transporting.
